Which vegetable oil to hydrate your skin?

Which vegetable oil to hydrate your skin?

If your skin feels tight, reddened and even peels, then you have to face the facts: it is very dehydrated and it will have to be taken care of. However, if you react badly to petrochemicals like moisturizers and creams found in stores and pharmacies, you may feel lost. However, there is indeed a solution: vegetable oils. Completely natural, they have various benefits for the epidermis, provided you know which one to choose. So, here is a short guide to find your way around and choose the one that will suit your needs.

For very dry and mature skin, Nigella oil
You can recognize dry skin by its flaking present throughout the year and by its rough texture that constantly tugs. To deeply hydrate dry skin, we prefer an oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acid such as Argan oil or Nigella oil which can be applied as a day cream or as a care to leave on one night, like a mask. These two oils are also excellent anti-aging treatments due to their softening and firming actions: they help the skin to plump up and permanently erase fine lines and also offer protection against UVA and UVB rays. Two bottles to have in your bathroom urgently!

For oily skin, Jojoba oil
If you still doubt it, the answer is yes: it is quite possible to have oily and dehydrated skin. Indeed, oily skin is characterized by an excess of sebum, but it is absolutely not a guarantee of sufficiently nourished skin. So, if your skin glows, but at the same time, you experience discomfort such as occasional tightness, your skin could benefit from the benefits of Jojoba or Hazelnut oils, perfectly adapted to your needs. These oils, in addition to nourishing your epidermis, will help you regulate your sebum production and contain agents that promote scarring in case of acne, a winning combo!
