Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly dragged into PMQs after blistering Boris Johnson swipe on ‘fictional’ Downing Street party

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly hauled into PMQs subsequent to rankling Boris Johnson swipe on 'anecdotal' Downing Street party

Insect McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were the improbable name-drops in Prime Minister's Questions this week after the team broiled Boris Johnson on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Was that on your bingo card this week?

The previous evening Ant and Dec attacked Downing Street only hours after film was delivered of Mr Johnson's previous press secretary Allegra Stratton responding to inquiries at a counterfeit public interview on December 22, 2020, about a supposed slam the past Friday.

Taking a punch at the recording, Dec proceeded to even out an immediate holler to the pioneer (well, 'for the present', as per Dec).

Appears to be the introducing team was new on the brain when MPs took to the chamber today, as Sir Keir Starmer went in on the PM, who asserted the 'primary he knew about [the party] was the previous evening'.

He raged: 'We've all watched the video of the Prime Minister's staff… they knew there was a party, they realized it was contrary to the guidelines, they realized they couldn't let it out, they thought it was interesting.

'It's undeniable was occurring.

'Insect and dec are in front of the Prime Minister on this.

'The Prime Minister has been found in the act… '

The couple are obviously staying aware of the present notice, as they tweeted in the midst of PMQs: 'Morning. Simply getting up following a late evening.

'Anything intriguing happening today'

Bringing down Street has more than once demanded there was no slam and Covid rules had been adhered to consistently observing reports one occurred there on December 18.

Yet, film got by ITV News shows Ms Stratton responding to inquiries at a counterfeit public interview on December 22 with regards to a party the past Friday – the date of the supposed standard breaking gathering.

At the practice with Ms Stratton, Ed Oldfield, an extraordinary counsel to Mr Johnson, asked her: 'I've quite recently seen provides details regarding Twitter that there was a Downing Street Christmas celebration on Friday night, do you perceive those reports?'

Ms Stratton answered 'I returned home' before a conversation with partners regarding whether the occasion was a 'cheddar and wine' evening.

She added: 'This anecdotal party was a conference … and it was not socially removed.'

At PMQs, Mr Johnson said he has requested that a Cabinet Secretary examine what occurred.

However, he indeed denied there was a party and said no Covid rules were broken.

'I have been more than once guaranteed that there was no party and that no Coronavirus rules were broken,' he said today.

'I have requested that the Cabinet Secretary build up the real factors and to report back at the earliest opportunity – and it's a given that in case those guidelines were broken then there will be disciplinary activity for every one of those involved.'All things considered, that didn't stop Ant and Dec was kicking in the boot on ITV the previous evening.

'It is all adjustment of camp now since yesterday the celebs picked another pioneer by the endowment of a mysterious vote,' Dec said.
