Kelly, a talent show alumni herself, revealed: 'What first drew me to the whole idea of duets was the fact that it is completely different - in the sense that we get to actually collaborate with the artists that we choose.
'I think its really cool that we get to find talent that we really believe in and we get to perform with them and help mould someone into whatever they want to do with their career.'
Richie added: 'Duets will give us the opportunity to hold these artists by the hand for a minute, and what I love about it is I will get to watch them grow.'

According to Us Weekly, the man in question is talent manager Brandon Blackstock, and the 35-year-old just so happens to be the son of Kelly’s own manager Narvel Blackstock, and stepson of singer Reba McEntire.
Kelly admitted last year that she didn't know if she would ever find Mr Right. 'I've never been in love,' she told USA Today.
'I've never experienced certain things, and I think that's because I have this side of me that is shut off.'
