There are miles of queuing site visitors on the A14 following a crash in Suffolk this morning (February sixteen).
The A14 westbound is in part blocked from Junction fifty four Sproughton Road (Sproughton) to Junction 53 West Meadows (Whitehouse Interchange).
According to Suffolk Police, there has been a -automobile road traffic collision on the westbound A14 between Sproughton and Whitehouse. This is presently blockading one lane.
In a separate incident, a lorry has had a tyre blow out at the westbound A14 among Sproughton and Whitehouse. This is also blockading one lane.
National Highways confirmed in a tweet: "The A14 westbound between J54 (Sproughton) and J53 (Whitton) near Ipswich, one lane (of two) is closed because of a collision and separate broken down HGV. There is about 6.3 miles of congestion on method, inflicting delays of 24 mins."
An extra update from Inrix provides that there is gradual traffic on A12 southbound from Junction 31 B1070 (East Bergholt) to Junction 30 B1029 Upper Street (Stratford St Mary).
