They split over a year ago, but it seems Lindsay Lohan just can't move on from her relationship with her ex Samantha Ronson.
The 24-year-old, who left the Betty Ford Clinic yesterday after a 90 day court-mandated stay, is preparing to move into a new home in Venice Beach, California, which is right next door to her ex girlfriend.
The pair both used to reside in the same apartment building in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles, but Ronson moved out last year.
And now, Lindsay has decided to follow her across town.
Ronson is said to be unhappy about the move and made her feelings clear when when Lindsay's father Michael was shifting things into the new place.
'Samantha walked out of the building next door,' a source tells America's Us Weekly. 'She was shaking her head and looking disgusted. She kept saying, "I didn't plan it this way".'
When photographers asked the 33-year-old DJ if she had any New Year's resolutions, her reply was 'No. I'm too p*ssed off right now.'
Meanwhile Lindsay seems undeterred, Tweeting an inspirational quote from Gandhi on New Year's Day.
She said: 'Today is the first day of the rest of my life.'The actress is staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills until her new home is fully set up.
She was seen in the lobby earlier today, meeting up with her Freaky Friday co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who arrived at the hotel with Michael Lohan.
Curtis seemed delighted to see the actress, giving her a big hug and asking how she was.
'I’m doing fine, it’s so great to see you,' a very upbeat Lindsay told Curtis.
The star is said to be renting the 3,100 square foot house in in the Venice Beach area of Los Angeles for just under $7,100 a month.
However, the four bed four bath house is not yet ready for Lindsay to move in, so she is said to be staying at an 'upmarket LA hotel,' according to Radar Online.
Lindsay left the rehabilitation clinic, three months after she was ordered back for treatment by a judge after failing a drugs test.
She served the rehab stint in connection with her 2007 DUI conviction, after repeatedly failing to meet the terms of her probation.
This led to two stints in jail and two in rehab last year.
But her freedom could be short lived
