Britney Spears has purchased an $8.5million Los Angeles home, according to reports.
The
new X Factor judge is moving further from Hollywood with the purchase
of a five bedroom, seven bathroom home in suburban Thousand Oaks, E! News reports.
The 8,456-square-foot home, built in 2010,
also features an infinity pool, wine cellar, home theatre and fireplace.

The property is located about 15 miles from
Britney's Calabasas home, which cost her a reported $19,000 a month.
The star's alleged purchase follows news of her lucrative contract with Simon Cowell's TV talent show.
Financial documents show the star has plenty of expendable income as well, with an estimated worth of $32.4million.
Britney, 30, has a blend of assets,
including property and cash, that brings the superstar up to the
enviable figure, according to documents filed by her conservatorship, E! News reported last week.
