Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are proving that sometimes, the best response to a ridiculous rumor is laughter. The couple, both 34, found themselves at the center of a media frenzy this week after a leaked document purporting to be a "breakup contract" went viral online.

The document, supposedly drawn up by Kelce's PR company, Full Scope, detailed an elaborate plan to announce a split on September 28th. It outlined a "gracious" and "respectful" statement emphasizing mutual respect and personal growth.

However, both Swift and Kelce's representatives swiftly denied the claims. A source close to the singer revealed to DailyMail.com that Swift found the situation "hilarious AI realness" and didn't even consider a formal response.

"She and Travis had a good laugh over it," the source said. "After learning that their 'breakup date' is coming up so soon, they now need to plan something super special and fun on that day to commemorate."

The source added a playful twist, suggesting that September 28th – coinciding with the first NFL game of the season and National Beer Drinking Day – presents a perfect opportunity for a unique date night.

The viral document, despite its obvious fabricated nature, caused a stir due to Swift's history of high-profile relationships and past accusations of "showmances." Her brief romance with British actor Tom Hiddleston in 2016, following her split from Calvin Harris, attracted similar speculation.   

However, Swift's relationship with Kelce seems to be on solid ground. The couple has been spotted publicly on numerous occasions, including Kelce's family gatherings and Swift's recent Eras Tour performances. Kelce has even been vocal about his love for the singer, and she was seen celebrating his Super Bowl win with him earlier this year.   

Full Scope, the PR firm named in the document, also vehemently denied its involvement. They labelled the document "entirely false and fabricated" and stated they are taking legal action against those responsible for the forgery.   

Interestingly, Kelce's representative, Jack Ketosyan, has previously admitted to orchestrating "showmances" for publicity purposes. However, both Swift and Kelce's current situation appears to be a genuine relationship, strengthened by their ability to laugh off the recent absurdity.

As the NFL season kicks off and Swift's tour continues, it remains to be seen what "super special" plans the couple has in store for their supposed "breakup date." One thing is certain – they'll be doing it together, leaving the rumors behind with a smile.
