An air emergency vehicle is going to a multi-vehicle crash close to Boroughbridge.
The accident happened in the A1(M) at around 8.53am today (December 9), two paths have been shut while crisis administrations go to the scene.
The degree of the wounds isn't yet known.

Traffic has been impacted between intersection 49 Ripon Road (Thirsk/Dishforth ) to intersection 48 A6055 ( Boroughbridge ).
Paths two and three on the southward carriageway have been shut.
Traffic information site Inrix said: "A1(M) Southbound shut, lining traffic because of mishap from J49 Ripon Road (Thirsk/Dishforth ) to J48 A6055 ( Boroughbridge ).
