 A1(M) traffic: Crash on A1M creates long setbacks for North Yorkshire as air rescue vehicle working at scene

An accident is causing blockage on A1M in North Yorkshire today (December 9) as crisis administrations work at the scene.

The National Highways Agency for Yorkshire reported that the A1M is shut southward between J49 at Ripon and J48 at Boroughbridge at 9.50am.

The street was shut down after a solitary vehicle crash, with all crisis administrations - including the air rescue vehicle - working at the scene.

Not long before early afternoon, National Highways tweeted the episode was at present causing around four miles of blockage on the A1M southward between J51 at Leeming Bar and J49 at Dishforth.
