senior Conservative MP and a columnist have both blamed Stanley Johnson the Prime Minister's dad, of improperly contacting them. 

Caroline Nokes said the senior Mr Johnson powerfully smacked her on the posterior and said she has "a beautiful seat" in 2003 in front of him hurrying to be a Tory MP. 

Mr Johnson declined to remark about her charge made to Sky News, other than to say he has "no memory of Caroline Nokes by any stretch of the imagination".

The claim incited Ailbhe Rea, a columnist for the New Statesman magazine, to blame Mr Johnson for having "grabbed" her at the 2019 Tory gathering.

Ms Nokes, the seat of the Commons Women and Equalities Committee, prior proposed that the Prime Minister's dad improperly contacted her during the Conservative party meeting in Blackpool 2003 in front of Mr Johnson running in the Teignbridge seat in Devon in 2005.

Reacting to the charge on Twitter, Ms Rea said: "Stanley Johnson likewise grabbed me at a party at Conservative meeting in 2019. 

"I'm thankful to Caroline Nokes for getting down on something that none of us ought to need to endure, not least from the Prime Minister's dad."
