A representative for South Wales Police told MailOnline: 'Criminal investigators exploring the demise of five-year old Logan Mwangi from Sarn, Bridgend have charged a 14 year-old kid with murder.
'He will show up under the steady gaze of Cardiff Magistrates Court earlier today.'
