Nicki Minaj returns to her native Trinidad to shoot colourful carnival style music video Pound The Alarm
Nicki Minaj continued her globe-trotting ways by heading home to film her next music video release.
The singer, who filmed last single Spaceships, in Hawaii, honoured her native Trinidad by shooting next single release Pound The Alarm in the southern Caribbean island.
The 29-year-old adopted a full costume displaying traditional colours that are often worn at the world famous Trinidad and Tobago Carnival.
The Trinidad-born hip hop artist, who was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, performed alongside soca star Machel Montano during the filming in Belmont, yesterday afternoon.
Nicki was driven around the streets on the back of a lorry with music blasting from huge speakers just like a real carnival procession.
She was dressed as flamboyantly as ever in a a pair of fishnet tights with high-waisted black pants and some well placed jewellery to cover her modesty along with a tiny gold bikini.

The blonde haired star was happy with the large turnout and thanked everyone for coming on her Twitter page.
