Actress and model Carla Bruni has given birth to her second child in Paris.
The baby girl, whose father is French President Nicolas Sarkozy, was born at around 8pm local time on Wednesday at the Clinique de la Muette in Paris.
The child is the couple's first together. Nicolas, who is also a grandfather, has three kids from his two previous marriages, while the brunette beauty, who previously dated Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, is mother to 10-year-old Aurelian.
Carla, 43, confirmed her pregnancy in July after months of speculation.
