Winter Storm Warning Issued Ahead of Potentially Major Snow Event Sunday Through Tuesday

(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a iciness hurricane caution for the complete middle segment of Minnesota.

Forecasters say gathering snow will begin Sunday night time and come in two waves through Tuesday. Likely snow accumulations are everywhere from 8 to fourteen inches. Some locally heavier snow could fall with higher snow totals from 12 to 18 inches.

A band of snow will circulate from west to east throughout vital Minnesota late Sunday night time into Monday. The highest snow fall quantities are in significant Minnesota.
