M6 closed between Shap and Penrith because of collision and lorry fireplace

Police at the moment are in attendance
The M6 is currently closed northbound among Junction 39 (Shap) and Junction 40 (Penrith) because of a collision and lorry fireplace.
Cumbria Police are now in attendance.
There is a diversion in location, with delays to travel probable.
Drivers are requested to observe the hole triangle diversion image:
Exit J39, flip left onto B6261 westbound
Turn proper at junction of B6261/A6 and tour north on the A6
Continue north on A6 through Shap, Hackthorpe, Clifton and Eamont Bridge
At Kemplay Bank roundabout, take first exit onto A66 westbound
At J40, take 1/3 go out onto M6 northbound.
National Highways are asking people with planned trips to permit greater time and consider unique routes.
