A representative for The Crown said: 'Jemima Khan has been a companion, fan and a vocal public ally of The Crown since season one. 

'She has been essential for a wide organization of all around educated and differed sources who have given broad foundation data to our journalists and exploration group – giving setting to the dramatization that is The Crown. She has never been contracted as an author.' 


Khan was partner proofreader of political magazine The New Statesman and was European editorial manager on the loose for the US magazine Vanity Fair and presently runs a film creation organization. 

She has two children – Suleiman, 24, and 21-year-old Kasim – from her union with previous cricketer Imran Khan, presently Pakistan's Prime Minister and Hasnat Khan's far off cousin. Diana visited them in Pakistan twice, in 1996 and 1997.
