This is the instant a hazmat-clad paramedic loads a patient into the rear of an ambulance amid fears coronavirus has spread to the united kingdom .
Video circulating on social media shows a person wearing a mask and a black hoodie being escorted out of a home on a residential street in Harborne, Birmingham.
A paramedic head-to-toe in protective gear, including a white hazmat suit, blue apron, gloves and a mask with a visor, then follows him into the ambulance.
Her isolation gown looked almost like those worn by Chinese medics treating diseased patients in Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak.
Two paramedics within the short clip were also seen with none protective clothing - raising concern about whether stringent enough safety measures are in situ within the UK to affect the disease.
The video was filmed within an hour of Health Secretary Matt Hancock's bizarre advice to patients with suspected symptoms.
He begged travellers coming back from Wuhan to remain indoors, avoid contact with anyone and ring NHS 111 if they need any symptoms.
It is not known whether the patient within the video was tested for coronavirus but health bosses are being tight-lipped about the case.
MailOnline understands the sole NHS body to understand exactly what's happening within the footage is that the West Midlands Ambulance Service, which refused to answer any questions on it.
A spokesman for the ambulance service repeatedly told this website: 'We can't say a thing about the case.'
Two other paramedics wearing no protective clothing appear within the video - one appears from behind the ambulance doors (left) and another stands beside the hazmat-clad woman (right)
But the Department of Health has not ruled out the likelihood the patient was suspected of getting coronavirus.
Social media users were quick to boost concerns about the 2 paramedics seen not wearing protective gear within the video.
One user, Susan Bower, wrote: 'So the ambulance drivers aren't even wearing protective clothing yet do get rather on the brink of the patient? is that the UK really prepared? i feel not.'
