His film company secured the movie

A
teaser trailer has been released by Entertainment Tonight, who will be
showing the first full-length trailer on Thursday November 8.
The

zombies in the action film, which is based on the post-apocalyptic
horror novel by Max Brooks.
First look: Fans can now catch a glimpse of Brad Pitt in upcoming zombie action film World War Z
Pitt plays the role of Gerry
Lane, a worker at the United Nations, who finds himself searching the
globe for information that can stop the zombie outbreak that is bringing
down nations.
Lane scours the world
collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived the
conflict that almost eradicated humanity.
The beginning of the teaser trailer shows Pitt asking: 'What's going on?' as the city is turned upside down.
When filming of the movie finally commenced in 2011, the crew spent time in Malta, Glasgow and Cornwall to get the perfect shots, before heading to Budapest.
This, along with changes to the script, has ensured that the movie has been a lengthy project.

place in September and October.
