After spending a relaxing Christmas in the snowy peaks of Aspen, Paris Hilton was ready to let her hair down last night as she partied up a storm in Vegas.

The heiress got into the New Year spirit early as she danced the night away, glow stick in hand, at Surrender Nightclub at Encore in the Wynn Resort.

She was joined by some pals and was out to support her friend, Dutch  music producer DJ Afrojack, who was spinning the tunes.

The reality star tweeted pictures from inside the club, including one of herself wearing a pair of shades emblazoned with 'I "heart" DJ Afrojack'.

Another picture showed the crowd going wild and waving their hands in the air.

Earlier in the day Paris had prepared for her big night out with a spot of pampering at a spa.

'Had such a relaxing day at the spa,' she tweeted. 'I love the spas in Las Vegas. Feeling great and ready to have a Good Time tonight! :).'

Later she took to Twitter again, posting: 'Getting ready w/ @CamRaFace @MandiScarsell @KateStromberg for a fun night out! Listening to @DJAfrojack's Replica :).'

Once inside the club, she updated her followers again: 'The crowd is loving @DJAfrojack at Surrender Las Vegas! So much fun!'
