The former TOWIE star and the footballer had tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2022, shortly after Carroll was caught in a compromising situation during his stag-do.
Despite their separation, Mucklow continued to share loved-up photos on social media, attempting to keep their troubles under wraps. Meanwhile, Carroll signed for French fourth-tier club FC Girondins de Bordeaux, admitting that the move had "cost him money."
Mucklow remained at their home in Essex while Carroll left for France. In an interview with RMC Sport, Carroll revealed that he was playing for Bordeaux out of love for the game, not for money. His estimated salary was around 3,500 euros (£2,925) a month.
As Carroll departed for France, Mucklow continued to post loved-up photos on Instagram, including one from June 21 where the couple attended the wedding of Newcastle goalkeeper Mark Gillespie. Another post from the same weekend showed the couple enjoying dinner on the Amalfi Coast.
In a statement, Carroll confirmed the separation and announced they were undergoing divorce proceedings. He emphasized that the decision was made for the best interests of their children. A source told The Sun that Mucklow and Carroll still care about each other but decided it was time to go their separate ways. They are both focused on being good parents and maintaining a respectful relationship.
Prior to their wedding, Carroll had been caught in a compromising situation during his stag-do, which reportedly caused Mucklow to flee their home and remove her engagement ring. Despite the incident, the couple went ahead with their wedding.
Mucklow and Carroll are parents to three children. They also have children from previous relationships.
