M5 visitors stay: Motorway closed due to 'crash concerning pedestrian'
Motorists are advised to approach this impacted stretch of the M5 with caution
A stretch of the M5 has been closed because of a "police led incident" within the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency offerings were known as to a street visitors collision concerning a pedestrian on the M5 northbound between Junction 21 A370 (Weston SuperMare) and Junction 20 B3133 Ettlingen Way (Clevedon) at just after midnight.
Police are responding to the ongoing incident. Motorists are recommended to approach this impacted stretch of the M5 with warning as traffic is being held.

National Highways South West tweeted at 12.40am: "We're getting reviews of a critical collision on the #M5 northbound among J21 (#WestonSuperMare) and J20 (#Clevedon). Further updates to comply with."
Traffic tracking site Inrix is reporting that: "M5 Northbound closed, gradual visitors due to police incident from J21 A370 ( Weston-wonderful-mare ) to J20 B3133 Ettlingen Way."
