Parts of each the M5 and A30 at Exeter are closed because of a 'police incident.'
Traffic is queuing on the northbound carriage of the toll road at junction 29 - the Exeter airport/Honiton junction.
The A30, which runs below the M5 near the Science Park, is likewise closed in both directions because of the incident.
Google Traffic Data shows excessive delays inside the area and tour monitoring software program, INRIX, reports visitors tailbacks.

The avenue had re-opened earlier after being temporarily held because of the incident.

Traffic released on principal toll road
Police had been keeping visitors throughout all lanes on the M5 Northbound whilst handling the incident, they've now released site visitors on the main carriageway.
The slip avenue at J29 remains closed, as is the A30 in both instructions under the M5.
Devon and Cornwall Police verify the incident continues to be ongoing as of 10:25am.
