Jimmy Rave, who began his profession in 1999, has passed on, wrestling specialist Bill Behrens affirms to PEOPLE

Jimmy Rave, previous Impact Wrestling star, has passed on a half year in the wake of having both of his legs severed because of a MRSA disease. He was 39.

"James was one of my children and his misfortune harms me and numerous others, and we want to have saved him, yet we proved unable," wrestling specialist Bill Behrens tells PEOPLE.

Behrens shared an assertion in regards to Rave's demise on Twitter on Monday, adding that Rave's little girl, Kailah, had assisted him with composing it.

"James Michael Guffey has passed on at 39 years old," the assertion started. "James was most popular as Professional Wrestler Jimmy Rave. His vocation began in 1999, proceeded for north of twenty years. He was a double cross NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. He showed up altogether Non-Stop Action Wrestling, where he collaborated with Lance (Hoyt) Rock as the 'Rock and Rave Infection.' "

Behren's Twitter articulation proceeded to portray Rave's long-running profession in the wrestling scene, adding he "visited Japan with both Dragon Gate Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling where in 2008 he contended in 'Awesome of the Super Junior' Tournament," and showed up in "various free advancements including Rampage Pro Wrestling, Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment, and Combat Zone Wrestling, among numerous others."
