Kate Beckinsale: My remarks about my IQ were intentionally turned 

Kate Beckinsale has hit back at press reports she guarantees "intentionally curved" her words to make her appear "prevalent or presumptuous", in the wake of recommending her high IQ might have been a "handicap" in her acting profession. 

Recently, the Hollywood star uncovered on The Howard Stern Show on US radio broadcast SiriusXM that her IQ score had been tried as 152 as a youngster. 

Notwithstanding, she proposed her knowledge might have been a "handicap" in her vocation. 

Following various stories distributed by US outlets about her remarks, Beckinsale shared an extensive reaction on Instagram censuring some of them. 

The London-conceived entertainer, 48, said she had confronted a "predicament" when gotten some information about her IQ by Stern. 

"Come clean? Decline to address the inquiry? Falsehood? Imagine it was lower? I came clean and a few columnists have been set off by this," she said.

The Underworld star said she went to an all-young ladies school where she didn't need to stress over "lifting my hand making me potentially unfeminine", and later went to the University of Oxford where "scholarly discussion was supported as well as the whole reason behind joining in". 

She added: "I'm extremely mindful that I am so fortunate to have had those encounters.

To represent her point, she shared a photograph of a feature from the Grazia article which read, I Dumb Myself Down On Dates So I Don't Intimidate Men, And I Hate Myself For It. 

The article referred to an overview wherein the greater part of respondents conceded they had "simplified" on dates.
