Mocking photos of Donald Trump - Trump at breakfast

The staple of humor and satire in the press has always been and still is caricature. Recently, US President Donald Trump has increasingly become the protagonist in memes and parodies. Playboy, in its ongoing political column, suggested that the common man add a special ingredient to breakfast. Let's see what came from it.

The idea of such a series of works came to the magazine designers by chance. When the Republican National Convention coincided with National Waffle Day in America, the topic of the political column was predetermined. Pictures of a legitimate president decorate dishes that are commonly eaten not only in America. But Trump, instead of coffee or boiled eggs, does not cause appetite.

Restaurant names dovetail with irony at such a breakfast. Instead of cornflakes, the "bouncing cereal" floats in a bowl, and the magazine editor's cake has been dubbed "loose nut." A team of designers and editors came up with ideas for animation and titles for them. Not only employees of the magazine, but also their relatives participated. Since then during the quarantine, journalists have had to work from home.

It all started when the magazine was preparing an article with the title "The President is Afraid of Pancake Makeup". The designer suggested adding Trump's eyes and mouth to the range of pies. The editor liked the idea and evolved into a series of photos in which the president plays the breakfast

Photos of the food were taken from the storage locations. Photo Editor Lily Ferguson knew a little bit about the basics of retouching. She gladly completed an extraordinary task. The result aroused the interest of the magazine's readers and not only.

Playboy editors are promising a sequel to a series of works, in which Trump will be served in the form of lunch and dinner. In the meantime, we suggest enjoying the "double-faced" toast and washing it down with the Bloody Caesar cocktail.
