'I are coming to terms with the very fact that i'm gay': Phillip's statement fully
You never know what is going on on in someone's seemingly perfect life, what issues they're battling , or the state of their wellbeing - then you will not know what has been consuming me for the previous couple of years. With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I even have been coming to terms with the very fact that i'm gay.
This is something that has caused many heart-breaking conversations reception . I even have been married to Steph for nearly 27 years, and that we have two beautiful grown-up daughters, Molly and Ruby.
My family have held me so close: they need tried to cheer me up, to smother me with kindness and love, despite their own confusion. Yet still i can not sleep and there are some very dark moments.
My inner conflict contrasts with an outdoor world that has changed so considerably for the higher . Today, quite rightly, being gay may be a reason to celebrate and be proud. Yes, i'm feeling pain and confusion, but that comes only from the hurt that i'm causing to my family.
Steph has been incredible - i really like her so considerably . She is that the kindest soul I even have ever met. My girls are astonishing in their love, hugs and inspiring words of comfort. Both mine and Steph's entire families have stunned me with their love, instant acceptance and support.
Of course they're worried about Steph but i do know they're going to scoop us both us.
My friends are the simplest , especially Holly, who has been so kind and wise - and who has hugged me as I sobbed on her shoulder. At ITV, i could not hope to figure with more wonderful, supportive teams.
Every day on This Morning, I sit in awe of these we meet who are brave and open in confronting their truth - so now it's my address share mine. this may probably all come as something and that i understand, but only by facing this, by being honest, am i able to hope to seek out
