Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake — like peanut butter and jelly. If you watched "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday night, you might think their friendship went all the way back to their summer camp days!
OK, it was just a sketch in which the pair were pretending to be retainer- and braces-wearing adolescents stuck at Camp Winnipesaukee in 1997 (though Timberlake sported an amazing beard for a guy who just hit puberty).
The dynamic duo are pals who can't fall asleep in their cabin beds, and leap into a little late-night rendition of their favorite song: Third Eye Blind's "Jumper." And they can't stop, won't stop — even at the loss of their Snack Shack privileges once nosy camp director Mr. Fletcher (A.D. Miles) barges in.
Throughout the bit, the pair are clearly having a terrific time and nearly burst out laughing more than once. (Of course, this isn't the first time Timberlake and Fallon have teamed up for laughs).
You'll want to stick around for the whole thing and discover just what happened to those two boys ... and Mr. Fletcher ... long after summer was over! Check out the video!
