New love: Britney, pictured at a Britney Day celebration ceremony in Las Vegas on Wednesday, has confirmed she is dating writer and producer Charlie Ebersol

Britney Spears took to Twitter to post her first selfie with new love Charlie Ebersol.

The 32-year-old has recently sparked a new romance with the writer and producer, and likely couldn't wait to share the sweet snapshot with her strong army of followers.

A photo of the lovebirds was captioned by the Toxic hit-maker with a simple heart symbol.

Charlie then shared the same photo, and described the cosy selfie as '#happiness'.

Britney, who called it quits with ex-boyfriend Dave Lucado in August, looked her glamorous self with a generous coat of smoky eyeshadow and rosy blush to highlight her lovely looks.

The singer's other half looked smart in a beige sweater and plaid tie, which peeked out from his V-neck top.

Recently Britney was asked about relationship rumours by special correspondent Pauly D, formerly of Jersey Shore, while on Extra, revealing: 'It's very new'.

She made the revelation as she received the key to the Las Vegas Strip at a ceremony celebrating her getting November 5 named Britney Day in Sin City.
