Depressed day: Miley Cyrus claimed to still be mourning the death of her dog Floyd on Saturday
While away on her Bangerz tour in early April, Miley Cyrus lost her beloved pet dog Floyd.
And on Saturday, the 21-year-old singer revealed she's still very much struggling to cope with his death.
'I want everyone's heart to break the way my heart is breaking,' the Wrecking Ball singer tweeted from Dublin, Ireland.
And that was only part of her lengthy Twitter message, in which the former Disney star discusses her deep sadness stemming from the guilt over the Alaskan Klee Kai's passing.
Miley wrote, 'I keep asking why would the world take me sweet boy from me? A question an infinite amount of mothers before & after me will ask after losing their precious baby.
'I'm just a baby myself,' she admitted, explaining how she still depends on her own mother, Tish Cyrus.
And as 'Floyd's mommy,' Miley revealed, 'I don't know when the regret and guilt will fade... I dont know if it ever will.'
The former Hannah Montana star described herself as an extremely passionate person who is full of unconditional love which makes losses even harder for her to handle.
'I feel like I let my boy down. my job was to protect him & I'm not a person that takes failure lightly,' she said about her dog she got in 2011.

Embracing her sadness, the We Can't Stop songstress claimed to be staying in bed all day.
With no desire to see the sun's shining rays, she cried: 'I want everyone to feel the emptiness in their tummy like I am feeling.'
Though she knows it's not her fault and completely out of her control, that hasn't helped the situation that feels like a complete 'nightmare.'

Since she can't escape her reality, Miley decided to be a 'helplessly hopeless human' for the day, and she's 'ok with that.'
In April, the star expressed her mourning following Floyd's passing and claimed to 'have never been so hurt' in her life.
