Drew Barrymore shard photo with her second daughter Frankie

Baby joy: Drew Barrymore opened up on the joys of giving her daughter Olive a sibling - something she always wanted while growing up

Drew Barrymore gave birth to her second child Frankie, another girl, on April 22 and life is hasn't been better or busier.
The 39-year-old actress revealed the joys of having two little ones in the house and those sleepless nights to People magazine.

Most touching is seeing how her daughter Olive, who turns two in September, has reacted to having a newborn in the house.

'I've just been so excited. I wanted a sibling for Olive so badly,' Drew told People. 'I really knew this was the right path.'

When Olive met Frankie, 'she looked right at her and said, 'Frankie sister,'" the proud mama said.
'Olive loves Frankie and just wants to hang out with her all the time. She wants to feed her. She's super into it. That's now. I'm sure things will ebb and flow.'

ET star Drew grew up as the only child of John Drew Barrymore and Jaid Makó Barrymore, and the one thing she regrets having was a brother or sister.

So it was something she wanted Olive to have, 'because I really would have liked that in my own life.'

Juggling act: The 39-year-old star, pictured with husband Will Kiopelman and daughter Olive in September, admitted that having two little ones is 'a juggling act' because 'they're awake and asleep at different times'

Loves those carbs: Drew, pictured with armfuls of bread during a May 15 photo shoot in NY, said she ate everything she wanted during her pregnancy with Frankie like pizza
Drew, who lives in Los Angeles with her art consultant husband Will Kopelman, admits having two little ones in the house tends to pull her in two directions.
'They're awake and asleep at different times sometimes, or awake at the same time, and it's a juggling act a little bit.'

Drew marvels at how well Olive has taken to Frankie, and revealed that she began the getting-to-know-you process in the early stages of her pregnancy.

'I always pointed to my belly and had her say 'baby' or 'sister,' and I got her some books: I'm A Big Sister and What To Expect When The New Baby Comes Home,' Drew told People.
Duty calls: The former child star got back on the red carpet this month promoting her new comedy Blended; she looked amazing at the film's Berlin premiere on Monday
