SmackDown opens with Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga, and an injured
Ricardo Rodriguez.They come out and say that the Brogue Kick should be
banned. Out comes the GM Booker T who says the fans should decide on if
the kick should be banned. They vote for it to stay legal. Booker T
teases that he has something for them later on tonight.
1. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara defeats The Miz and Cody Rhodes. Rhodes
accidentally hit a Beautiful Disaster on Miz, which allowed Rey to pick
up the victory for his team.
2. Zack Ryder defeats Daniel Bryan. Bryan and Ryder hugged before the
match started. It was a quick paced match, as Bryan made Ryder tap out
to the No Lock. He would not let the hold go, so the referee reversed
the decision.
3. Randy Orton defeats Damien Sandow. Before the match, Sandow came out
and ripped on Orton, calling him an ignoramous. He would continue to
talk bad about him until Orton came out and said that Booker T put them
in a match against one another. As the match took place, Dolph Ziggler
was on commentary, and attacked Orton after the match. Sandow was
counted out and would try to run back into the ring, only to get caught
with an RKO. Ziggler escaped.
- David Otunga is seen entering Booker T's office and still wants the
Brogue Kick to be banned. Booker T says no and books him vs. Sheamus for
later tonight.
4. Primetime Players defeat Primo and Epico to become the Number 1
Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship. Truth and Kingston were on
commentary during this match.
-Wade Barrett is backstage and is interviewed.
5. Wade Barrett defeats Yoshi Tatsu in a quick squash match. He cuts a heel promo after the match.
6. Sheamus defeats David Otunga, as Del Rio was at ringside. Booker T
came out before the end of the match and banned the Brogue Kick. Sheamus
and Del Rio went at it quickly, but Sheamus would end up getting the
win over Otunga.
