She may be only 18-years-old, but Dakota Fanning showed that she can cut it alongside stars more than double her age on the red carpet.
The teenage actress looked stunning in silver as she stepped out on the red carpet of Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun Fearless Awards at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York tonight.
An honouree at the awards, the star had arrived in a striking red wrap and wore her blonde hair loose around her shoulders.

She teamed her dress, which featured a slit in the midriff area, with a sparkly clutch bag and nude heels.
Dakota, who will next be seen alongside Jeremy Irvine in the film Now Is Good, was named as the magazine's Fun Fearless Female of the Year 2012.
She told the magazine: 'Since I was young, I’ve always known who I was. I never really had to go through finding who I am. I’ve always felt really secure.'
