Has also emerged she is being sued by angry paparazzi photographer
She famously stripped off for a sexy spread in Playboy magazine.
But now, Lindsay Lohan is keeping a little more covered up in a somewhat classier set of new photographs.
The 25-year-old actress features in several new shots for German designer Philipp Plein in a new advertising campaign.

And the Mean Girls star looked stunning in the images, one of which features her posing in a strapless pale green dress slashed to the thigh, teamed with towering matching shoes.
With her bleached blonde hair tumbling down her shoulders, the actress sports flawless skin and subtle make-up.
In another picture, Lindsay shows off her patriotic side holding an American flag bag design as she lounges next to a lake.
In an outfit that displays her slim legs, the star sport a short red leather jacket and spiky red shoes with bow detail.

Flashing the flesh: The star shows off her slim legs in one shot, where she poses alongside a male model
Lindsay flashes her legs again in a black mini-dress and black heels as she perches on the lap of a bearded male model, while another picture shows her looking to one side in a strapless leopardskin dress in front of palm plants.
The final image shows the star in a simple white dress on a staircase with two male models.
Lindsay shot the advertising campaign last September in Italy, while in town for Milan Fashion Week.
She was once romantically linked to Plein, who announced their professional collaboration last year.
He said: 'Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model. We will be able to create unique images: refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality.'

However she could be forced to cough up the fee she earned from the advert if a lawsuit filed against the actress is successful.
According to TMZ, paparazzi photographer Grigor Balyan wants a payout after claiming he was badly injured when a car in which she was riding hit him while trying to make a fast getaway from a Hollywood club.
His lawyer Neil Steiner said she Lindsay is being sued because her assistant was driving the car under her direction.
He claims his client was treated for orthopedic and neurologic injuries, and that he tried settling with Lindsay's insurance company but they only made 'an insignificant offer.
He says all he wants for his client is 'reasonable compensation' for his client.
However the star's spokesman said: 'I'm not aware of a lawsuit filed against Lindsay by any of the many paparazzi who invade her privacy on a daily basis.'
However the new advertising images could mark the start of a comeback for the Mean Girls actress, who was yesterday reported to be in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new Lifetime movie.
According to Deadline.com, Lindsay is being touted to play the starring role in Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, based on the late actress's romance with Richard Burton.
Lindsay has been in and out of jail, on probation and forced to wear an alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet over the course of the past few years.
She has pleaded no contest to misdemeanour theft, which was lowered from a felony, as well as probation violation and sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.
However due to prison overcrowding, Lindsay served the sentence over 35 days under house arrest.
On the up? The stunning new campaign photographs came out on the same day that the star was linked to playing Elizabeth Taylor in a new TV movie
However, it seems Lindsay's problems are perhaps not quite over yet.
TMZ are reporting that the federal government are claiming the actress 'never paid her 2009 income tax.'
According to official documents filed in Los Angeles, the Internal Revenue Service has obtained a lien against Lindsay for $93,701.57 for failure to pay her federal income tax.
The website reports that if Lindsay refuses to pay the debt, the government can go after her belongings including 'homes, cars and bank accounts.'
Lindsay has so far not responded to calls for comment.
