Lady Gaga wears thigh-ly revealing black gown to  the International Emmy Awards in New York

Lady Gaga showed off her unusual black gown as she presented British producer and TV judge with The Founders Award at the 39th International Emmy Awards tonight in New York Cit

It was an evening where, for once, she was not supposed to be taking all the limelight.

But Lady Gaga still managed to grab her share of attention at tonight's International Emmy Awards where she presented Nigel Lythgoe with the special Founders Award.

The 28-year-old singer arrived wearing a typically unusual gown featuring a split running from waist to calf, with provided onlookers with a glimpse of her underwear.

The singer posed with Lythgoe following the ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, which she made a speech praising the producer of American Idol who also is a judge on TV talent show So You Think You Can Dance. 



Introducing Lythgoe as her 'favourite producer,' Gaga told the audience that the 62-year-old 'always helped to nurture and foster my crazy ideas, no matter how demographically unfriendly they were.'

The singer has made a number of appearances on Lythgoe's shows in the past few years.
