Cheryl Cole photos and video sexy  in new advert for Hunger TV - Tear It Up Fashion by Rankin.

Cheryl Cole ditches the high-maintenance glamour for sexy, tousled photoshoot with Hunger magazine

Sexy makeover: Cheryl Cole is a world away from her usual highly-groomed style in this relaxed, tousled videoshoot for the new Hunger magazine

Feeling tired: Cheryl has a nice lie down on the job

Feeling fine: Cheryl looks sexy and healthy in the video, although she is currently suffering from pharyngitis
Cheryl's racy shoot comes as the singer was forced to pull out of a Children In Need duet with Gary Barlow after being struck down with pharyngitis.

Tight T-shirt: Cheryl looks sultry as she leans forward to the camera in an incredibly tight top and 'sweaty' sheen

The Girls Aloud singer has been keeping a low-profile in recent months and is said to be recording her third solo album.

Cancellation: The shoot comes as Cheryl was forced to pull out of a planned duet with Gary Barlow at the Children In Need Rocks Ball

The new publication comes 20 years after Rankin launched Dazed & Confused with Jefferson Hack.

We're used to seeing Cheryl Cole groomed to perfection with glossy hair, immaculate make-up and form-fitting couture.

So its quite a surprise to see the former X Factor judge let her hair down in a relaxed, fun photoshoot for trendy photographer Rankin's new magazine Hunger.

In a video of the shoot, the 28-year-old looks sultry and seductive as she looks into the camera while dressed in an array of sexy outfits.

Instead of her usual preened dyed blonde locks hairsprayed into place, Cole's hair is wet and messy as if she was fresh out of the shower.
In one segment, Cheryl shows off her figure to full effect in a vintage-style white lace basque.
And in another series of shots, Cheryl wears a printed maxi dress as she leans against a pole.

Pole-dancing: One of the few full-length shots of Cheryl in the video sees her in a printed maxi-dress leaning on a pole

Who's looking at you kid? Cheryl wears a vintage-style white lacy basque as she walks towards the camera
The pole features again in a short sequence which shows a sweaty-looking Cheryl bending down towards it.
The online shoot, entiled 'Tear It Up' for Hunger TV coincides with the launch of Hunger magazine on Thursday.

Tight grip: The pole plays quite a role in Cheryl's racy shoot
The magazine is billed as 'a new platform for uncompromised self-expression, innovation and discover'.
Rankin said: 'More than two decades into my career as a photographer, I am still inspired by what I do everyday. I named my first retrospective exhibition ‘Visually Hungry’ – that’s how I felt. In a lot of ways, it is how I think I’ll feel until I die.'
