While Tom Cruise is busy saving the world on the set of his new Mission: Impossible film in Vancouver, Katie Holmes has been engaged in some equally important family bonding off set.
On Monday, Holmes, 32, her stepdaughter, Isabella Cruise, 18, and a friend of Isabella's took in lunch at restaurant specializing in vegetarian food. The three enjoyed almond shakes, pesto pizza, falafel and chocolate fudge for desert.
After lunch, Isabella went off with her friend, while Holmes picked up daughter Suri, 4, and took her to watch her dad in action on the set of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the fourth film in the action-thriller franchise.
After work, Holmes, Cruise and Suri hit a stylish Yaletown Thai place for a late dinner, finally heading home around 11:30 p.m.
While their time in Vancouver has been marked by family get-togethers, Cruise and Holmes have also managed to steal a few one-on-one moments. This past Saturday, the pair grabbed a cup of coffee and took a walk together. On Sunday night, they enjoyed a romantic dinner for two.
