Russell Brand shares a steamy kiss with Jennifer Garner in first Arthur trailerThis is renowned ladies man Russell Brand doing what he does best, getting intimate with gorgeous women, in his new film, Arthur.
The 35-year-old star is seen here passionately kissing Jennifer Garner in the first trailer to be released from the movie.
Russell and wife Katy Perry may have denied they are seeking couples' therapy just three months after tying the knot - but this sort of thing surely won't help relations at home.
Brand has previously described his kissing scenes with Garner to a delicious piece of cake.
'She’s like a fairy princess. There’s a brand of red-velvet cake, her mouth is made of that,' he told NextMovie.com.She smashes you in the mouth [in] those kissing scenes. If I was Ben Affleck, man I’d be p***ed off.'
In the first sneak peek of the movie, a remake of the 1981 classic starring Dudley Moore, Brand is seen in various scenes alongside Helen Mirren and Garner.
In one scene Garner, who plays wealthy heiress Susan Johnson, arrives at Arthur's home and greets him with a big kiss.
'What was that,' says Brand's character, to which Garner replies: 'A French kiss.'
Brand retorts: 'Really because the French Always surrender, that was decidedly German.'In the movie, Russell plays a wealthy New York City playboy, heir to a $750 fortune - but he can only claim it if he marries Susan.
However in the meantime he falls for working class girl Linda Marolla, played by Greta Gerwig.
In another scene, Garner is seen (unsuccessfully) trying to seduce Brand as she roles around the floor with him.
During their exchange Russell pushes her off him and towards a magnet on his bed which the heiress gets stuck to.
My bed is made of magnets - at least something in this room is attracted to you,' he quips.
Mirren, who plays Brand's 'nanny', is also on fighting form, landing him a punch in the boxing ring
The film is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Jason Winer. It is his debut at directing a motion picture after working on the Fox TV hit Modern Family.It will be released in cinemas on April 8 in the U.S. and on April 22 in the UK.
