These are the gruesome pictures showing the aftermath of Hulk Hogan's marathon nine-hour surgery.
The popular wrestler underwent a procedure last week for a problem with his spinal cord that has been plaguing him for at least eight months. The surgery required Hogan to have his spine rebuilt.
The Hulk Mania star had an extensive team attending to him in the operating theatre.
The wrestler has since been sending posts and pictures to his fans to let them know his up-to-date progress.
'This was my Christmas present,' he tweeted today, alongside the graphic picture.
The photograph shows puncture wounds where the 57-year-old had the procedure. There are three post-surgery wounds running down his back on one side, and four on the other.
Responding to fans today, the Hulk explained the operation was to fix a problem with his spinal cord.
'...its all good my brother,I had to get my spinal cord straightened out. Much respect,' he replied to one fan.
As every fan knows, the Hulk has taken a beating on his body with opponents in the wrestling ring.
And it appears that the father-of-two is a little tired of getting patched up for his injuries.
'I'm tired of being cut on,' he wrote alongside yet another picture of his post-surgery wounds.
According to his twitter postings, before the surgery the wrestler had an optimistic view on the outcome of the surgery.
Now it appears he is just dealing with the discomfort of healing.
