Royal Family in shock as Lady Gabriella Windsor's financier husband Thomas Kingston dies aged 45: King Charles and Queen Camilla are informed of death of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's son-in-law

The Royal Family has been left in shock following the sudden and tragic death of Thomas Kingston, the financier husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor. Buckingham Palace made the heartbreaking announcement that Mr. Kingston, aged 45, was found dead at a residence in Gloucestershire on Sunday evening. Emergency services were called to the scene, but unfortunately, his life could not be saved.

Thomas Kingston married Lady Gabriella, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, in 2019. In a joint statement with Mr. Kingston's family, Lady Gabriella paid tribute to her late husband, describing him as an exceptional man who brought light and joy to the lives of everyone who knew him. The news of his untimely passing has understandably shaken the entire family, and they are requesting privacy as they grieve their devastating loss.

While an inquest will be conducted to determine the cause of death, no suspicious circumstances or involvement of other parties have been reported. The Royal Family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, have expressed their deepest condolences, sending their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Lady Kingston and the Kingston family. Buckingham Palace spokesperson conveyed that the King and Queen were informed of Thomas's death and are mourning the loss of a cherished member of the family.

Coinciding with this tragic event, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella's parents, attended a memorial service at St George's Chapel to honor King Constantine of Greece. It should be noted that Prince William's absence from the service was unrelated to Mr. Kingston's passing. Kensington Palace had earlier announced that the Prince of Wales had withdrawn from the memorial due to a personal matter.

Lady Gabriella and Thomas Kingston exchanged their wedding vows at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in 2019. The couple's wedding reception took place at Frogmore House, a historic venue previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Thomas, also known as Tom, had an accomplished career as the director of Devonport Capital since 2017. His professional journey included significant roles at Voltan Capital Management and IDC Securities. Notably, he had previously served in Baghdad, Iraq, as part of the Diplomatic Missions Unit of the Foreign Office, working to secure the release of hostages.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tom Kingston had a close friendship with Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Princess of Wales. The pair had even briefly dated in 2011 following Pippa's previous relationship. Although their romance did not last, they remained dear friends, and Tom continued to be a prominent figure in Pippa's social circle throughout her subsequent relationship with Nico Jackson. Known for his charm, politeness, and popularity, Tom was regarded as the kind of person you would want to introduce to your mother, according to a friend of Pippa Middleton.

The passing of Thomas Kingston has left an indelible void in the lives of his loved ones and the Royal Family. His memory will be cherished, and his remarkable qualities as a husband, son, brother, and friend will be forever remembered. The Royal Family and all who knew him mourn the loss of this beloved member of their close-knit community.
