Final tickets for Taylor Hawkins tribute concert released: How to watch Foo Fighters this weekend
Today saw the final release of tickets for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show hosted by the Foo Fighters and the Hawkins family at London's Wembley Stadium. The late Foo Fighters drummer was 50 when he was found dead in his hotel room in Colombia in early March. a reason The death toll has not been released.
The band is already preparing for a one-off show in London that promises to be a day of epic music that despite its sadness is time to celebrate a great musician and friend.
The show will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3 September. Doors will open at 2.30pm and the show will start at 4.30pm
From 12 noon on the day of the show Olympic Way will be offering special merchandise. Tickets and merchandise sales will benefit the Music Support Charity which helps those working in music and live events affected by mental illness and/or addiction.
"Our team has been personally impacted by these issues seeing friends colleagues and heroes lose their careers families and even their lives," Foo Fighters said. "You are not alone."
