Road closed after vehicle and lorry crash on the A19 northbound near Hartlepool
Emergency offerings were called to the A19 close to Hartlepool on Wednesday morning.
Police and fire provider are presently on the A19 northbound at Elwick following a two-vehicle collision, involving a Ford Fiesta and HGV.
Three fireplace engines are in attendance and the street is closed from the A689 slip road onto the A19.
Cleveland Police have stated one female is being taken to sanatorium with injuries which are not believed to be existence threatening.

Cleveland Police stated: “Police and different emergency services are on scene at a two-car collision involving a Ford Fiesta and a HGV which came about round 9:35am on the A19 northbound near Elwick.
“The road can be closed from the A689 slip avenue onto the A19 at the same time as the incident is being treated.
“Please use alternative routes if possible. Thank you for your persistence.”
Cleveland Fire Brigade said in a tweet at round 10am on Wednesday (July 20): “We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A19 Northbound at Elwick. We have three hearth engines in attendance. The Northbound carriageway is blocked, avoid the place if viable.”
