All paths obstructed on A303 close to Thruxton because of traffic episode
ALL LANES are hindered on the A303 eastward among Cholderton and Thruxton this evening (Monday, January 17), because of three-vehicle episode which has purportedly left six individuals harmed.
Police were called at 4.22pm, to a "three vehicle RTC" the A303 only East of the Thruxton turning.
A Hampshire Constabulary representative told the Advertiser: "A303 shut Eastbound and traffic redirected on to the A338. The Eastbound on-slip at Thuxton racecourse has additionally been shut.
"It's accepted six individuals were involved between the three vehicles, five of which as of now are believed to be experiencing minor wounds and one all the more genuinely.
"Two individuals were caught in one of the vehicles for quite a while the fire administration got them out as there vehicle had turned over."
They proceeded: "There is probably going to be interruption and street terminations for quite a while as the mishap is explored and the street made safe. The vehicles included seem be a Citroen C4, a Mercedes A45 and a Mercedes A250.
