As of Sunday morning, it appeared the websites and social media for X-Site Energy Services had been removed.
NBC News didn't immediately receive a comment from Doug Sparrow, the company's head . However, Sparrow told Canada's Global News that he was conscious of the image but said his company wasn't liable for it.
“We didn't post those stickers or pictures on social media," Sparrow told Global News. "They are tagged on our accounts — personal and company — which I’m shutting down immediately to undertake to mitigate the damages. We didn't post that stuff on media, OK?”
In their article, Global News states that it repeatedly asked Sparrow about the image's origin, to which he declined to comment.
On Friday, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Alberta said during a statement that after an investigation, it had been determined "the decal doesn't meet the weather of kid pornography… nor does the decal depict a non-consensual act that might be an immediate threat to the person. Alberta RCMP don't believe it constitutes a criminal offense."

Alberta’s Culture, Multiculturalism and standing of girls Minister Leela Aheer tweeted, "The graphic during this article is totally deplorable, unacceptable and degrading. this is often not what our province stands for. Whoever is responsible should be ashamed and apologize immediately. I stand with Albertans against this horrendous image."
Premier of Alberta Jason Kenney skilled Aheer, supporting her statement.
"Thank-you for denouncing this odious image and therefore the message it sends, @LeelaAheer," he wrote.
