Many praised the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, for her down-to-earth response

Sympathetic parents have commended the Duchess of Cambridge's 'fantastic' reaction to Princess Charlotte after she stuck her tongue out to crowds at the star-studded King's Cup regatta at Cowes, Isle of Wight, yesterday.

In the amusing video uploaded to their Instagram page, InStyleMagazine captioned the post: 'Just when you thought it couldn't get any cuter than the Princess wave. Kate's reaction is absolutely priceless.'

While the mother-of-three encouraged her four-year-old daughter to wave to the crowds, the young royal had other ideas - much to the amusement of onlookers.

'Just a normal child! You can’t control their every move,' praised one, while another penned: 'Kate's response was fantastic!'
