'A DELIBERATE PROVOCATION': PRO ASSAD MEDIA CLAIMS ATTACK WAS STAGED WITH CAMERAS READY
There
were claims made yesterday by pro Assad and Kremlin media that the
attack had been staged, with cameras in place, by the Turks.
Marat
Musin, director of the news agency ANNA-News, said: 'It was a
deliberate provocation. The Turks knew where the jet would be attacked
and set video cameras and photographers beforehand.
'They were familiar with the area so they could easily see the moment of attack and crash of Su-24.'
He
said: 'It was all done not to destroy the plane but to damage it and to
force aviators to eject themselves to capture them. Local gangs also
took positions in this particular area beforehand. These particular
bandits shot dead one of the pilots while he was in the air. The second
pilot, who was saved, was very professional.'
He
claimed: 'It was an absolutely clear, deliberate provocation on the
Turkish military and militants side. Our bombers have been working on
ground targets in this area for a few days so Turks had known how, where
and when they'd fly.
'Not
surprisingly, about eight videos with the crash of the plane and
helicopter were uploaded to the internet almost immediately, six of them
were real. We checked them.'
