It's a style jungle out there: Diane Kruger looks the cat's whiskers in Rihanna's panther swimsuit

Former model Diane Kruger is normally known for her sophisticated, chic style of dressing.

But it looks like the German actress has been showing her little-seen flamboyant side after copying the eccentric beach style of pop star Rihanna.

Enjoying a romantic holiday in Mexico with boyfriend Joshua Jackson, Kruger showed off her gamine figure in a £195 We Are Handsome panther swimsuit.

The cossie, by an upcoming Australian swimwear brand, was first spotted on Rihanna in her native Barbados two weeks ago.

Kruger wore the swimsuit for her post-New Year's break in Cabo San Lucas with long-term love Jackson.

Under the scorching sun, Diane, 34, had the opportunity to show off her incredible figure in the designer swimwear.

The actress made sure to cover up her face by wearing a trilby style hat and a scarf wrapped around her neck.

Joshua opted for a pair of grey swimming trunks for his beach attire.

At one point, the 32-year-old actor opted to keep his T-shirt on while Diane continued to flaunt her perky behind in the one-piece.

Whilst enjoying the surrounds of surf and sand, Joshua and Diane also settled on some poolside lounging where they played board games.

Joshua and Diane's holiday comes just after the Troy actress was announced as signing on for a role in Farewell, My Queen.

She will reportedly be playing Marie Antoinette in the upcoming movie alongside Gerard Depardieu.

The former fashion model is best known for her role as Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglourious Basterds, alongside Brad Pitt.

Joshua is also taking a break from filming the third season of TV series Fringe in a more chilly Vancouver.

The down to earth couple, met and started dating in 2006 after Kruger split from French actor husband Guillaume Canet after five years of marriage.

Canet announced this week he is expecting a baby with French actress girlfriend Marion Cotillard.
